Budgeting Accountant at a Leading Multinational Company ID-181

• corporate objectives and financial strategy.
• Analyze budget submissions to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with financial guidelines.
• Conduct weekly monitoring of budget line expenditures for all departments to ensure adherence to approved budgets.
• Identify variances between actuals and budgets, investigate discrepancies, and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare detailed financial reports, including budget-to-actual comparisons, variance analysis, and trend forecasts.
• Develop and present periodic reports to management on budget performance and financial risks.

General Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or a related field.
• Must be a Chartered Accountant
• Certification in CITN will be a added advantage.

Experience, Attributes & Skills Required:

• Minimum of 8 years of relevant working experience in budgeting, financial planning, or management accounting.
• Extensive experience in budgeting processes and financial performance monitoring.
• Proficiency in financial systems and tools; experience with ERP systems is highly desirable.
